Around the country, Christmas light shows are brightening up public areas for a limited time this holiday season. 1. Ayala Triangle Gardens Festival of Lights, Makati
When: November 9, 2017–January 7, 2018
Time: 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., every 30 minutes
The Ayala Triangle Gardens Festival of Lights is perhaps the most popular holiday light show in the Philippines. It features a stunning 360-degree experience with the countless LED lights that hang from the giant trees adoring Ayala Triangle Gardens. The lights blink and change color to the beat of cheerful Christmas carols. Perhaps the most exciting part of all this is standing in the middle as the lights and sound consume you.
2. Nuvali Magical Field of Lights, Sta. Rosa, Laguna
When: November 11, 2017–January 7, 2018
Time: 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., every 30 minutes
Living far away from the Metro? Don’t worry, Ayala brought their award-winning light show for residents in the South, particularly those residing around Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The Magical Field of Lights at Nuvali’s The Field features luminescent tulips and a 50-meter tunnel that has been opened for public viewing.

3. Magical Nights of Lights, Centrio Mall, Cagayan de Oro
When: November 11, 2017–January 14, 2018
Time: 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., every 30 minutes
Residents of Cagayan de Oro city get to enjoy one of the best Christmas light shows ever courtesy of Ayala Malls. Guests of Centrio Mall can enjoy a beautiful rainbow lights display during the holiday season. The 30-minute-long lights and sounds choreography can be experienced for free at Centrio Mall’s Bridgeway and Garden area.
4. Symphony of Lights, The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu
When: December 1, 2017–January 2018
Time: 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., every 30 minutes
Cebuanos delight over the Symphony of Lights 2017 Show. Ayala Center Cebu has been spreading Christmas cheer for the past three years, with award-winning sound director Voltaire de Jesus composing the relaxing score.
5. Vertis Northern Lights, Vertis North, Quezon City
When: November 16, 2017–January 8, 2017
Time: 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., every 30 minutes
Northern Lights in the Philippines? Well, it may not be aurora borealis, but it is pretty close! The magnificent display of LED lights, holiday tunes, and lasers illuminates and forms a cathedral. These aren’t your ordinary Christmas lights, inside are cyber spheres shaped into cylindrical paper lanterns. The design was made by Zenas Pineda and sound director Voltaire de Jesus.
6. Christmas Musical Street Light Tunnel, Ortigas East/Tiendesitas
When: November 11, 2017–January 7, 2018
Time: 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., every 30 minutes
The newest entry on this list is the Ortigas Christmas Musical Street Light Tunnel. It happens to be the first light tunnel in the Philippines and is modeled after similar attractions in Japan, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The Christmas Musical Street Light Tunnel spans 1.4 kilometers in length and features a total of 2,368 pixels of light.
